Rachel and Tyler got married a month ago at a gorgeous church in Pequot Lakes, and then celebrated for the rest of the night at the fabulous Breezy Point Resort. Rachel was an old friend in middle school, and so it was even more special to get to be a part of her and Tyler’s wedding day. They were one of the most laid back and relaxed couples I have worked with, and they were so so happy :) Thank you guys SO much for choosing me to be your wedding photographer! – Kelley Congratulations you two!

I met AJ a few summers ago when she was working at Camp Jim and I was the sub lifeguard for a week. She then moved off to college in East Grand Forks, where she ended up volunteering at a non-profit coffee shop named The Ember. Turns out, there was this guy who also volunteered there. He was also on the worship team at the church AJ attended, and so she knew of him, but one day they connected and officially met at the coffee shop…. and the rest is history ;) Jonny proposed at The Ember as well, so when they suggested going there for engagement pictures I said YES please! It was fun to reconnect AJ, and to meet Jonny. You two are absolutely adorable together, and I can see how much you enjoying being together. You made my job a breeze! -Kelley

Ryan and Alisha are getting married this August at the Arrowood Lodge in Brainerd… but for their engagement session we traveled to Hancock, MN where Ryan is from. When Alisha asked if I was willing to travel so that we could do some pictures with the firetrucks since Ryan is on the firedepartment, I said YES! I love it when an engagement session incorporates something that is unique to them as a couple. Excited to be a part of their wedding this summer! – Kelley

Oh boy. This winter has been crazy, and I have been so behind on blogging sessions. In October I was able to photograph Warren and Larissa’s beautiful wedding at the Breezy Point Resort. The couple, who are from North Dakota, were surrounded by some of their closest friends and family while they said their vows on the Breezy Belle. Mr. and Mrs. Dillon, I am so glad I was able to be a part of your intimate wedding, and be a witness to how excited you were to spend your lives together! – Kelley

I think it’s fun that the first post on my brand new blog is such a special senior… My little brother :) I can’t believe he’s over half way through his senior year, and is making plans to go off to college next year. And, like one of his little swimming girls told me the other day, “Markie has a beard!” Of course we happened to pick one of the windiest days this fall, and it was pretty chilly, but we had a great location and brought along some of the sisters so we had fun despite it all. Thanks for being a good sport, and such a great brother Mark!

I used to work for Heather, one of the Stumbo’s daughters, and this year they asked me to take their extend family pictures. I went out the resort the Sams own and got to meet the rest of their family. I loved the colors that they chose to wear, and we couldn’t have asked for better light and weather!

Aunt Gayle is one of my mom’s sisters, and I have lots of fun memories with this family, including camp-outs in the back yards, sledding down Uncle Kevin’s luge, canoe trips down the river, playing toby for hours, fishing, us girls hiding from the boys ;) and so many others. This year they all were able to make it up to our house for Thanksgiving, and so we took a quick time-out after dinner to shoot a few family pictures. We’re very blessed to have such a great extended family! Love you all!
