Derek is my other “little brother”. Being best friends with both his sisters while growing up meant I had to put up with him over the years. But despite all the picking on each other we’ve done, I still manage to somewhat get along. ;) When Kendra came along I was so happy that he found the perfect girl that will not only put up with him, but brings out the best side of him! Kendra, Derek is one lucky man to have you! Although I will admit, that you’ve got a pretty great man too. :) When Derek proposed I was secretly dying to take their pictures, and when they asked me to I may have yelled YES PLEASE! I’m so excited to party in June! Love you guys! -Kelley
Brandon and Emma met while in the military, both of them stationed in AK. But they decided to come back to Emma’s hometown of Staples to celebrate their marriage. Although I was only part of their day for a few short hours, I am glad I got to capture the memories! Thank you Mr. and Mrs Stiles for allowing me to be a part of your day! Also another big thanks for serving our country together! – Kelley
Ryan and Alisha got married this past August at the Arrowwood Lodge in Baxter. After having a sweet ceremony, they moved into the reception room to celebrate. You could see that these two really value each other and get along so well. I also appreciated how much the two of them cared about the people around them on their day. Alisha, you were such a radiant bride, and the two of you were absolutely wonderful to work with! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Schroeder! -Kelley

Alicia is another area royalty… the second one that I’ve shot this year. Not only that, but this girl is also a Brainerd Kixter, and pulled out some dance moves for me. I know I say this every year, but I just love photographing this family! I’ve gotten to take their images annually since the youngest was just a new little baby. The kids always remember me, and enjoy showing me all the new things around their place… this year the highlight was the trampoline, which ended up providing some adorable pictures :) Thanks again for inviting me out, Cole Family! -Kelley
Dezmond was the ring bearer in a wedding I shot earlier this year… And he was quite the little man in a tux. But he looks just as good in his baseball cap, on his trike :) We hung out in honor of his 2nd birthday, and did lots of little boy stuff!

I’m blessed to call this gorgeous lady and her equally adorable kiddos my cousins. When Jayme asked if I’d be willing to come down and take their family pictures, of course I was super excited! :) The kids picked the location, because the creek is their favorite place to play. We also had some fun when we got back to their place and realized that the sprinklers had come on. Thanks for letting me hang out and capture your fam, Jayme. Love you guys! Kelley
Megan is a Pequot Lakes Senior, but came my way for her senior pictures because she wanted some at the Staples depot. I was super excited to see all the props she’d brought with her, and we had some fun at all the different sites. Thanks for being so much fun to work with, and such a gorgeous model, Megan!
