Read MoreA few weeks ago I got the chance to hang out with Kassii… the Miss Teen Crow Wing County, who also plays the saxaphone, and is a Cardinal athlete. We made a little trip up to the Nisswa area, and found all sorts of fun places to do her pictures. Thank you so much for choosing me for your seniors, Kassii! Good luck this winter at the State Pageant! :)

Read More“Only where children gather is there any real chance of fun.” – Mignon McLaughlin, journalist and author When I first started my photography, I didn’t look forward to taking pictures of kids. It just didn’t seem like my thing. But the more I’ve done it, the more I’ve come to enjoy it. And not only enjoy it, but absolutely love it. There’s just something about the life of a little child; Where they don’t care what other people think about them. Where every little thing, whether it’s a nature find or a bike ride, is an adventure. Where they’re not worried about what to eat or wear, or the future… what concerns them most is what they are going to do right now, what they are going to discover today. They live life to the fullest. Some days, I want to go back there. And then God reminds me that’s what He meant when He said we should be “like one of these”. Live life to the fullest. Be grateful for every moment. Enjoy.
Read MoreMorgan is from Council Bluffs, Iowa… but goes to school in Hutchinson… but spends the summers in Clitherall. So even though I’m far away from both those two places, I still got to be the lucky one to shoot her senior session. Their lake home was a photographers dream, with lots of fun out buildings, a fabulous orange chevy, and the gorgeous Clitherall Lake. Add this beautiful senior and we set a record for shooting the most pictures of a senior session ;) Morgan, I’m so glad you found me and that you chose me for your senior session. It was great to meet both you and the rest of your family! – Kelley
Read MoreTaylor is a senior at Staples Motley high school. I met her at the Legacy Gardens in Staples, and we braved the mosquitos and got some awesome shots. She wasn’t so sure she could pull off the serious look…. but I think she rocked it. We’re also going to do another session in the fall, I’m excited to get the chance to work with her again! Thanks for using me for your senior portraits, Taylor! See you soon! Kelley
Read MoreThe Jillson family purchased a gift certificate at the St. Francis school auction, and so I met them on one of the hot, humid summer days down by the river. Despite the heat, all of them were great! Thanks for the opportunity to work with you all! Enjoy your portraits! Kelley
Read MoreToni called me last minute, to say she was planning a surprise anniversary celebration for her and her husband Brian’s 21st. She said, “I know it’s crazy… but would it fit in your schedule to do a session in a few hours?” Luckily I had nothing planned for the evening! So after the two of them renewed their vows, I met them at Ivan’s for a little photoshoot. It was great to met them, and to see such a loving couple that has stuck with each other for over 20 years. They look fabulous together! Thanks again for using me to document this special day! Here’s to many many more years of your marriage! Kelley
