When I first started my photography, I didn’t look forward to taking pictures of kids. It just didn’t seem like my thing. But the more I’ve done it, the more I’ve come to enjoy it. And not only enjoy it, but absolutely love it.

There’s just something about the life of a little child; Where they don’t care what other people think about them. Where every little thing, whether it’s a nature find or a bike ride, is an adventure. Where they’re not worried about what to eat or wear, or the future… what concerns them most is what they are going to do right now, what they are going to discover today.

They live life to the fullest.

Some days, I want to go back there. And then God reminds me that’s what He meant when He said we should be “like one of these”.
