{Lucas and Maddy | Surprise Proposal Photos at Grandview Lodge}

Give me allllllll the surprise proposal photos, please!!! Despite the fact that I was sweating buckets because I was so nervous and didn’t want to be the one to mess it up, this was a blast! Lucas did a great job planning this whole thing; while on vacation with Maddy’s family, he was able to sneak her away for a walk at Grandview Lodge where I was waiting, and managed to surprise her (exhibit A… see photos below). Congratulations you two!! I’m so thankful you let me be part of this special day!

Seriously. I told Lucas this when he contacted me, but my hubby did this for me when we got engaged, and they’re some of my absolute favorite pictures. The moment goes by so fast, and especially if you’re completely surprised, it’s like a whirlwind. It’s so fun to be able to look back my own surprise proposal photos and remember those emotions.
