Jake and Taylor are such a cute couple, and their love for each other shows even in these pictures! I met them at Taylor’s family’s cabin in Crosslake, where they had lots of memories including Jake’s proposal. It was freeeeezzzing out that day, but you’d never know it with these adorable, joyful smiles! Also, you’ll need to keep an eye out… because pretty soon here you’ll be seeing these two again, with their wedding pictures at Pine Peaks. Lemme tell ya, they’re worth watching for! Tis also the season for lots and lots of engagements, so if that new rock is on your finger I’d love to plan a winter wonderland e-session with you! Read MoreGive me allllllll the surprise proposal photos, please!!! Despite the fact that I was sweating buckets because I was so nervous and didn’t want to be the one to mess it up, this was a blast! Lucas did a great job planning this whole thing; while on vacation with Maddy’s family, he was able to sneak her away for a walk at Grandview Lodge where I was waiting, and managed to surprise her (exhibit A… see photos below). Congratulations you two!! I’m so thankful you let me be part of this special day! Also… these two. SO cute. And happy. And in love! Exhibit B… also see photos below! Seriously. I told Lucas this when he contacted me, but my hubby did this for me when we got engaged, and they’re some of my absolute favorite pictures. The moment goes by so fast, and especially if you’re completely surprised, it’s like a whirlwind. It’s so fun to be able to look back my own surprise proposal photos and remember those emotions. Guys… if you’re planning to ask your lady to be your wifey… let’s chat. Give her a fiancé, a pretty rock, AND some super emotional photos! -Kelley These first two photos are from when I told her I was doing a “promotional shoot for Grandview and they wanted to…

We started out at Fritz Loven Park, with gorgeous light (and a few mosquitos! ha) and ended our evening at Gull Dam Brewing where we were entertained by live music while shooting super cute pictures! John and Kayla were not only super easy to work with, they’re also the kind of couple that are super easy to chat with. After my time with them for their engagement session, I’m so excited to shoot their wedding at Grandview Lodge in just a couple months! Also, did ya’ll know that Gull Dam has live music every Friday and Saturday evenings?! Perfect backdrop for a brewery engagement session, but it’s also a fun date night or girls night too! John and Kayla, thank you so much for not only hanging out with me for the evening, but for allowing me to be a part of your upcoming wedding! I can’t wait to celebrate with you two, as you become Mr and Mrs! -Kelley P.S. If you’re engaged and want to have a fun brewery engagement session (or honestly any other fun location!) let’s chat!
