I’m sure at this point in my blogging streak you’re starting to notice a trend… especially when it comes to my seniors. Sports and lakes. Some of my favorites! Katie is a multi sport athlete, who had already signed to play basketball in college, so of course we included that, plus we had to take some volleyball senior photos. Katie’s family had spent years coming to Campfire Bay Resort on vacation, and so she contacted me hoping to shoot her senior photos at her favorite place. Of course I said yes! We got a perfect night, and some fun pictures, so keep that scrolling to see more! It’s coming up to that time of year when Katie and the rest of the class of 2019 is graduating, and the next group of kids is starting to think about senior photos. Read MoreThis session! Not only did I have such a fun time shooting this casual lakeside family photography session, I’ve had a blast looking back at them while writing this blog post. For me, these scream exactly what summer should be. Family, sunshine, sun tans, baseball caps, smiles, water balloons, and late evening boat rides. And those are the memories I would want to look back on for years! You don’t have to have your WHOLE family together to some cas family photos like these. Read MoreJake and Taylor’s Pine Peaks event center wedding was one of my favorites from the season. These two were so obviously in love with each other, but you could by how they interacted with the family and friends, that they are a couple that does a wonderful job of loving all those around them. Not only were Jake and Taylor such a fun and easy going couple to work with, they had an awesome team of vendors that made their day a joy and a breeze to photography. Annnnd we were blessed with literally a perfect July day. I’d keep going on, but it’s probably better if you just have a look see for yourself! This year I got to work with so many high school athletes, and it brought me back to the very beginning of my photography career at the Staples World, where I covered sporting events. Read MoreHoly cow, this Maddens on Gull Lake Spring Wedding styled shoot was an absolute blast to be a part of! Not only did all of the vendors do a fabulous job (and you’ll find them in the next paragraph!), the couple who modeled for us rocked their part as well. I just got married a year ago December, but planning this styled shoot made me want to plan and style my wedding all over again! A HUGE thank you to Maddens on Gull for allowing us to play with their beautiful space. The stunning champagne and nude wedding dresses were provided by Celebrations Bridal. The gorgeous lavender, dusty blue and green florals (including the stunning moon arch, the head table set up and the awesome floral tattoos) were designed by Marci at Lily Grass Floral . Alyssa’s hair styles and make-up were done by Angel Martin of Bells and Blossoms . The naked berry cake, and hand painted buttercream on buttercream cake that were just as delicious as they were gorgeous, were made by Dani at Sweet Life Bakery . And last but not least, the invitation suite with the hand lettering and watercolor was done by Autumn at Autumn’s Lettering . Read MoreI always love me a good ol’ MN winter engagement session, and then add these two. Nothing short of perfect. Jake and Taylor are such a cute couple, and their love for each other shows even in these pictures! I met them at Taylor’s family’s cabin in Crosslake, where they had lots of memories including Jake’s proposal. It was freeeeezzzing out that day, but you’d never know it with these adorable, joyful smiles! Also, you’ll need to keep an eye out… because pretty soon here you’ll be seeing these two again, with their wedding pictures at Pine Peaks. Lemme tell ya, they’re worth watching for!
