Once, a long time ago, I traveled to California to shoot a wedding with my friend Katherine of Katherine Alison Photography . It was a super gorgeous day and beautiful wedding, and I thought I’d share a couple of my favorites. You can find more of their images on Kate’s website.{I was enjoying looking at these images even more today given all the snow we have on the ground ;) }
Read MoreIn the process of going through all of my images from 2013, I realized I’d never shared Anthony and Cindy’s awesome July wedding! So here they are! Anthony and Cindy’s wedding was so fun to be a part of, because everything was so them. From the ceremony being at 4:17, to the bridesmaids have clutches made out of ties, or the groomsmen and all their funky sunglasses, the two of them had thought through every detail. The wedding and reception was outside at Cindy’s dad’s property and everyone pitched tents and had fun the whole day! Thank you two again, for choosing me to be part of your special day!
Read MoreThe colors were at the perfect time, and the morning light was gorgeous for this families session. The Prahms live on a lake, and have two adorable children which made this session lots of fun. Thanks for using me for your family pictures!
Read MoreLove the eyes on this senior! They’re such a gorgeous mix of greens and browns. I used to work with Jessica’s mom, but had never met her… so it was fun to get to meet her after hearing her Mom talk about her! :) Thanks for using me for your senior session, Jessica, and being super easy going during your session.
Read MoreI’ve known Angie for a while now, we used to work together… and she still currently works with some of my siblings. I was secretly hoping all year that she would choose me to do her seniors… and guess what? She did! Thanks Angie, for being so stunning and for giving me the chance to do your portraits! I very much enjoyed myself… and the coffee/talks after your session :)
Read MoreThis family. They’re so great! I’ve been blessed to get to document this family since Isaac was just a few months old, this is my fourth session with them. It’s so fun to get to see them grow, and I love spending time with them, hearing all about the new things in their life and sometimes I even get hugs when I leave. I also got the chance to teach them swimming lessons earlier this year, which was even more fun! Thank you, Cole family, for being such a support to my business.. and inviting me back to your home each year! It’s a joy to shoot your family!
Read MoreI met the Lund family one Saturday morning out at their place, and it was gorgeous! Lots of pretty places to take pictures of this family of four. The two little boys were adorable, and had lots of energy. This family definitely seems to have fun together, and I think one of my favorite parts was when Logan was telling me about the crappie he caught the previous weekend {we got some adorable expressions out of that story!}. Thanks for having me out, it was great to meet you all!
Read MoreThe youngest of the Denning family, Jordan, is now a senior. Jordan is a friend and teammate of one of my brothers, and I’ve also gotten the pleasure to photograph their family {which you can see here!}. The Dennings all enjoy each other, and I enjoy getting to spend time with them. The night before his session, the football bus broke down on the way to an away game, and Jordan was up until well after midnight. Despite all that he was still a great sport in front of the camera, thanks for using me for your seniors, Jordan!
Read MoreCarson is a good friend of my cousin Charlie, and I was blessed for them to choose me to shoot Carson’s pictures as well. We got to start out at his house for a few images, and then went on to explore other parts of the country/small towns around Indpendence. Thanks for being fun to work with, Carson, {and Ida!}. It was great to meet you all!
Read MoreThis senior is slightly more special than the others I have shot this year, because this one is my cousin :) Charlie is one of the Schmid kids, and we have lots of memories as kids growing up and hanging out with all five of them. Charlie is a senior at Orono Highschool, and is a football and wrestling star {last year I got to watch him win his match to go to State!}, and he’s also pretty easy going in front of the camera. Thanks for letting me do your senior pictures!
